“Mistakes can make you stronger and wiser only if you never repeat them, learn from them, pick yourself up and move on”. –Tino Theodorou.
I want to share with you 2 major mistakes i made that made life harder.
I want to share these 2 mistakes with you, in case you are in a similar situation, to avoid going through the same struggle i had to go.
*********** MISTAKE #1:
TRYING TO EXPLAIN , DEFEND MYSELF AND LOSING MY TEMPER TO THE DREAMSTEALERS, HATERS AND DOUBTERS.
No matter how hard you try to defend or explain yourself, your vision, your dreams, your point of view and the way you perceive life, some people will never, ever get it!!
They are programmed and wired to perceive life on a completely different way and you will get nowhere trying to explain your perspective!
The only thing you will manage to do, is to lose your temper, say or do things you don't mean, waste your energy and time, misbehave, get down to their level and at the end you may get blamed for reacting the wrong way!
Those people are just waiting for that time when you will make a mistake and they're gonna jump on it and rip you apart!! Those people gave up on their dreams and their only success is your failure!
DON’T FALL FOR IT!!!!
Stay strong, go away asap and interact with the people that share similar ideas and mindset.
********** MISTAKE #2:
ELIMINATING MY EGO AND GETTING A JOB FOR A PERIOD OF MY LIFE WHILE I WAS PURSUING MY DREAMS.
Yeap! you’ve read right! A JOB!!
I’ve said over and over again; having a J.O.B (Just over Broke) for all of your life it totally sucks!!
However, while you are building your freedom, get a stable Job or do any kind of part time work when needed, I KNOW! it may suck a little but it will definitely make your effort much easier!
It will help you pay your bills, maintain a healthy way of living, fuel your dream vehicle, take care your responsibilities and avoid criticism and stress!
Some people gave up and are afraid to pursue their dreams, so they decided to just follow the system, stick with a comfortable job, have a simple lifestyle and just go through life as it comes.
But some other people are not afraid to pursue their dreams, they want freedom, they want to become entrepreneurs, to create, to inspire and to experience life to the fullest.
But trying to pursue your dreams without going through a transition and having some help on the side it will be a huge struggle! Set up the move between employment and chasing your dreams as a something of a transition.
I know!! You may feel like you are going backwards and You want to prove yourself that you can make it without any help, that you can become wealthy and successful, that you can make your dreams a reality..
But believe me it will be much easier if you let go of your ego and do anything it takes to keep you on your feet, keep fueling your dream vehicle and be able to take care of your responsibilities, because if something goes wrong you will have no source of income to keep building your dreams and pay your bills and you may reach a point where you will get stacked and depressed and start thinking about giving up!
I know that you don't want to waste any more time, you want to spend as much time as possible pursuing your dreams and doing what you love, you think the more time you invest the faster you will get there, but trust me, the obstacles you may face if you do that they will drain you and waste much more of your time.
Think quality over quantity! If you just use your time effectively and efficiently and have a balanced life, you will fulfill your dreams a lot faster.
Don’t chase your dreams in a way that leaves a trail of ruin behind you.
You owe it to yourself to chase your dream – but not at the expense of those around you. I've seen very bad things happen as a result of chasing dreams without a safety net or backup plan.
You should always have a part-time job until you are sure that your "dreamjob" would pay your bills.
